In 2007, AnCor Development Corporation, the real estate development company of the Antonio Barrios Ortiz (ABO) and Corazon Gamboa Ortiz (CGO) family, purchased a 22 ha. property in Cagay, Roxas City and used it to start ABOCGO Land, Inc., created to be the land banking and investment arm of the ADC Group of Companies. The property was bought as a fishpond with a prominent hill in the middle. It was then that Property Management was added to its purposes. Milkfish production and bamboo sales from the hill were its first sources of revenue. In 2015, ABOCGO Land, Inc. put together the 4-door apartment of the Ortiz Family in Zamora Street, the fishponds in Cagay, Banica and Baybay, and all the other personal properties owned by ABO and CGO in Roxas City, Iloilo and Manila, to grow its Property Management business focused on property improvement, manpower services, rentals and leasing. It remains to be an advocate of a green environment, investing in nursery and organic gardening, solar innovations, small and medium enterprises / cooperatives engaged in fish farming and agriculture.
